history play

Comedy Theatre continues its Shakespeare series. The fate of the young ruler Richard II is also the story of a battle for power with intrigue, betrayal, lawlessness and compromise. The work stands out among the history plays for its poetic beauty and its characters, who are recognisable even today.  The production is directed by the famous Transylvanian artist Gábor Tompa.
