Péter Valló

Péter Valló graduated from the University of Theatre and Film Budapest at the Faculty of theatre staging in 1973. Till 1975 he was stage director of Petőfi Theatre Veszprém, between 1975 and 1976 in Szigliget Theatre Szolnok. From 1976 to 1984 he staged at Vígszínház, from 1984 to 1988 in József Attila Theatre. Between 1978 and 1984 he was the artistic supervisor and lead stage director of Gárdonyi Géza Theatre Eger. He became the lead stage director of Radnóti Miklós Theatre in 1986. In 2002 and 2003 he was the artistic director of Petőfi Theatre Sopron. In 2005 he got the Kossuth Prize. Since 2020 he is the artistic advisor of Vígszínház.
