Erzsébet Kútvölgyi
Erzsébet Kútvölgyi was born in Budapest. She graduated from the University of Theatre and Film Budapest in 1973. Since 1971 she is a member of Vígszínház. Besides her theatre roles, she also played in more than 40 films and TV plays and also directed portrait and documentary films. In 1975 she got Varsányi Irén Memory Ring, in 1977 she got the Jászai Mari Prize. She won the Ajtay Andor Memory Prize five times (1978, 1986, 1995, 1999, 2007).
In 1990 she became Virtuous Artist, in 1996 she got the Small Cross of Order of Merit Hungary. In the same year she won the Ruttkai Éva Memory Ring. She was awarded with Roboz Imre Memory Prize by Vígszínház in 2004 and 2016. She got the Kossuth Prize in 2008.
