Director: Attila Vidnyánszky Jr.

comedy in two parts

Based on the work of the same title by Ede Szigligeti, the theater version was created by Miklós Vecsei H.

Ede Szigligeti, in a tired and disappointed mood after the defeat of the 1848/49 revolution and war of independence, wrote the most performed comedy in Hungarian drama literature in just two afternoons. For almost two centuries, Liliomfi and Mariska's love that surpasses all odds, Szellemfi's playfulness and the imagination of theater artists have been giving hope and strength in "this ugly world".

The version premiered at Vígszínház awakens us to the importance of play, friendship and love with lots of humor and games.
